This is one of the reasons why I've stayed away from washable pee pads. How would he know the difference? I use Nature's Miracle pee pads because I can smell something on them. It's not stinky or offensive, it just has a faint smell on them that smells different from anything else I own. I know that if
I can smell the difference between this and bathmats (his piddle pad is in the bathroom) Kaji can definitely smell the difference. And like Mike does, I only have the pads available for him in that one location. He knows where to find his pad and goes on his own. A handful of times have I given him the option to piddle in a room that wasn't the bathroom, like at hotel rooms, or my room when my mom has social gatherings and we're not invited.

He does great there too because the scent of the pad is unique.
