Chari is more prevelant in the Chi Breed, and does happen in the Yorkie. I'm not familiar with medical problems that plague the Silkie. What one needs to realise is that when you cross breed, you run the risk of creating a situation such as this. Making it more difficult to identify how this problem was passed down.
