Welcome to YT and congrats on your new baby.
She probably just wants some reassurance and it would not be a bad thing to maybe just to give her a quick hug and kiss. I would maybe make a little game of it and pick her up and kiss her and put her back down and so on, just to get her used to knowing that she is safe. I did this with Hot Rod.
The other thing that I might suggest is to leave the room for a second and come back in, ignoring Bailey. Keep doing this and increase the time that you are gone. This will get her used to you "coming back" so she will know that you will come back. you will need to be strong on this point. I wouldn't make too much of a deal when you walked out and walked back in. She will get used to this. I have seen my 2 clear across the family room wrestling with each other by the time I've come back in. lol
It will take time and patience. She's just a wee little thing and she's probably scared. Up to you, but I might suggest that if you are in the same room with her, have her loose with you. I have an expen with bed, blankies and piddle pad. They are loose for the day and the pen is open. Bailey is a bit young to leave loose as you know, but if you can let her out from time to time, she learn that her pen is a safe place and not something that keeps her from her mommy. My 2 go in there to use the pad but rarely for anything else while we are home but I have seen them go in to sleep--occasionally. They are in there at night with it closed, I think cause the feel safer--they seem to bark at anything and everthing if they are left loose at night.
Sounds as though you are being a good new mommy, best of luck! Hope this helps.
