I have these x-pens, wonderful for raising pups.
What I did with one of my boys, that loved to climb was, put him in a regular metal x-pen, lined all the sides with plexi-glass and bought a metal top for it (the top is designed especially for metal x-pens). Once he was trained to stop his climbing he was allowed his freedom. To this day he will not attempt to jump and/or climb on anything.
