Phoebe just took her first swim this weekend! We have a Dachshund that lOVES to swim. In fact, he leaps off the fountain half way across the pool. Poor Phoebe was left inside to watch so we decided we would give her a try. She absolutely loved it! I was a nervous wreck though.
My son was in the pool with his hand under her, and I was outside the pool holding on to the leash. We live in Florida and it's going to get hot so I want her to enjoy the pool with all of us but...I NEVER LET HER IN THE POOL AREA UNSUPERVISED!!!
I say as long as your baby likes it, be watchful and go for it!
