I bought cat bowls from Walmart for less than $2 each. They are flat almost like a saucer. Since we do not feed very much there really is not a need for a big bowl. Also, dogs eat by smell~try sprinkling a little Parmesan Cheese on the food to get her to eat. Avoid hand feeding it will create bad habits "which are hard to break".
