When it is time to groom I like to put these guys up. I set up a little grooming area on top of my dryer with a bath towel so they don't slide around. When they were puppies I would keep treats handy and treat and praise while I brushed. If you brush with one hand and pet with the other this will also help but remember to always be sure she does not try to get away from you and jump down. If it worries you to put her that high up you can also use the top of a coffee table or end table. Make sure you have all of your supplies together, it makes it much easier.
