JMO, I don't think he has anything to be sorry about. His motives were pure.
What I don't get is the whole "designer dog" mentality. I guess I'm old enough to remember them being called 'mutts' or "heinz 57 variety" . Most of the time they were the result of somebody getting out of the back yard... To me this whole mix of puppies for profit is just a marketing ploy by bad breeders. Tell someone you've got the 'hottest' new mix and poof...1500 dollars later you have a pet you could have gotten from any pound or rescue. I wonder how many of these breeders have any real knowledge of genetics and what new problems they might be creating.
