Great story, I've found so many dogs over the years, I guess they had a way of following me home?
Anyway, when they are wearing tags, it's so simple to find the owner, and you know that there is always a happy ending. I know if I had kids living with me, Joey would always be wearing tags. I pick him up, every time I open the door, and don't set him down, until I close the door. It's so hard to train kids (and their friends!!!!) to be careful enough!
