Please... no jumping down.
We probably have 8 sets of steps in our house for 2 kids - neither of which are small. When my 2 were little I even put pillows all over the place because we have tile floors. It doesn't take much for these guys to jar their knees which can lead to surgery later.
Please get steps for your baby. They have a 3 step version at Walgreen's that are only $10. And if you're still in doubt - please read the Sick & Injured section here - or do a search on the internet.
