Ummm... what is this vet smokin'? LOL. Giving dogs treats is a wonderful thing if you don't over-do it and find healthy treats. I love the Zuke's Mini Natural's because they are tiny, perfect for training, and really low in calories and fat. There's other treats like them too -- Amazon.com sells them, as well as Petco and other local pet stores.

Also, I personally don't believe dogs need a 4th shot... but I guess it's depending on the age they got their 1st shot. I believe the protocol a lot are following nowadays is 1st shot 8-9 weeks, 2nd shot 12 weeks and 3rd shot at 16-17 weeks, and rabies by 4 months (or whatever your state law requires it to be done...) but don't totally quote me on that... it's something like that. And... be very careful with the "L" part of the DHLPP... it's lepto and alot of small dogs have reactions to it, it's not a necessary shot, and it's definitely something to research and decide for yourself. Edit- found what I went by: http://www.weim.net/emberweims/Vaccine.html

How old is Miloh? As a young pup, I don't think it's really possible to over-feed necessary. Puppies need a lot of food are they are young and growing I like to free-feed specifically when they are pups but I still free fed Jackson at 1.5 years old.

Also, it sounds like the vet was trying to sell you on a food they sell, perhaps? I don't really like Eukanuba, Iams, Science Diet or any of those foods personally. I think some great brands are Acana, Nature's Variety, Merrick, Innova, Orijen, etc. I like Dog Food Analysis - Reviews of kibble
