I bolded what I hope is remembered besides what you said. It would really be an injustice if people read this thinking this happens all the time - (that kind of offer) because it doesn't. There are caring people here but this is not the norm...which is why I said what I said. I know where your heart is as do many people here and you're correct - this isn't about you but it still shows the kind of person you are -
I think most agree - as hard as it would be to 'give up' your own pet - sometimes the hard decisions show your love. It's like when it's time for them to cross the bridge. It's out of love that many face that decision ....no dog should live in constant pain when there are options available....even if we don't like those options.
