A couple of thing~when you say stinky could it be her teeth? Take a look inside her mouth and see if she has a lot of tartar build up--this will cause bad breath. The Caesar dog food is just cr@p and that alone will cause buildup on teeth.
When are you taking her to the vet? I believe the vinegar and water will work but then that goes back to the stinky problem. Maybe you should get her a medicated shampoo too. I bought some Tropiclean from Sarahheartmaddie a few weeks ago and I really liked it. It wasn't Medicated but she did have some that was and she was offering a super cheap price ($6 a bottle shipped ) http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/yor...mpoo-sale.html Also it could be her a food allergy too so get moving on the food change
The flea collar needs to go. They are not good for dogs to wear and they are also not good for humans to be in contact with. I would get her a collar and tag~you just never know. There is a lot of debate about tag and collar wearing but I strongly believe they should have a tag and be chipped if they ever get out and are lost.
It's early and my brain is still on sleep mode but I hope these suggestions help. Did I say she was adorable |
thank you so much!!!
i wish the smell was in her mouth, but it's her

... i figure it's gotta have something to do with this old nasty food, but i'll have her off of that very soon!!! it's transition time, baby!!!

i think she'll be much better when i changer her food and deal with her skin condition....
now, she just went to the vet on friday, but i'm trying to figure out when i need to take her again. i don't want to put her in panic mode or anything and the one she went to said she's healthy and gave her waaaay to many vaccines

, but i want to find out (a) what i need to do about her skin condition, (b) whether she needs anything special done on her teeth and (c) about how old she is ... her foster mom told me the vet said she was between 2 and 3, but her vaccination form says 5+ years. so i just want to know for sure. i also need to see where she is with heartworm, etc. oh, there's just so much, but i'm glad to do it.
what do you use for flea treatment?!? she came with the flea collar, so i didn't want to take it off until i had the alternative together. i know those aren't really safe for them....
