I think its a very good idea to adopt a new little friend for your little yorkie.
I had two females together for some years. But unfortunately i had a 7yr difference which was to great. My elder yorkie Gemma didn't take to her new sister for about 6mths..but after that all was fine.
I prefer little girls...it maybe because I had 3 son's so now I have my daughter's
I am going to visit an elderly lady tomorrow, who has to move into a retirement home and can't take her little girl..
She is very upset about this but is looking for a home for her little yorkie. So I am visiting her with the intention of adopting her little yorkie. She is 5yrs old & my little yorkie is 8 1/2. My husband has a little dachund..so this little thing will have to get used to a little family of furry sister's.
