Hi welcome to YT. Maybe you are allergic to one and not the other because of the coat. Some yorkies have silky coats and others have cottony ones. I am not sure if that would make you allergic to one or the other but maybe that could be a reason why you react to one and not the other. I wish I could help you more but I am not too sure about this. I would check with an allergist before making any drastic decisions like giving your baby away. My fiancee is an asthmatic also and our Nikko has cottony hair but it doesn't seem to affect my fiancee. Good luck!!
