A dear friend of mine lost his dog who fell into the pool at night because the gate was not shut.it only took 5 minutes.
I remember warning him about this and he said, oh the dog knows better we have lived here for 10 years...I will never forget him calling me, crying to tell me what happened. Living in AZ with so many pools I was always shocked at how many little children also drowned...just tragic and it doesn't need to happen.
