When is it time to put a sick animal down? When you know that the animal has no quality of life. When each and every treatment only provides a temporary fix. Most of us tend to put off the enevitable for our own benefit. Our emotions come into play. I've done it, but have learned to look into their eyes and somehow they tell me when it's time to let them go.


I also can't help but agreeing with Momma Dog. For the dog to be helped, why does it have to wind up with a different family? My personal feeling is, if you can't afford something, do not buy it. If you can't maintain it, do not buy it
