Very good thread. I like the ideas and tips.

The best tip I can pass along is the book "How to House Train Your Dog in 7 Days." Without a doubt, this is the best book anyone needs when potty training. What can I say, play, food, and potty schedules; using the crate; and only feeding your dog his/her own dog food. When people have potty training issues, I always tell them about the book and using the crate.

Also, I put Sydney's potty pads, including her reusable ones, inside her SecondNature litter pan. The litter that comes with it was too messy and all Sydney wanted to do was chew on the litter.
