Traveling safety tip: when staying at a hotel, put your dog in a pen or crate while you meticulously check the floor for anything dangerous that may have been left behind, like pills or earrings that may have been missed by the vacuum cleaner. Check under the beds and other furniture.
Look around the room for power cords and other potential hazards that you would normally take care of at home.
If you leave your dog alone in the room, secure him/her in an xpen or crate and hang the "do not disturb" sign on the door to prevent housekeeping or someone from opening the door and accidentally allowing the dog out of the room. |
