Kent State was so shocking to so many people...and while it looks romantic it was in a dumb sort of way...No one thought the government would kill people for protesting...at least not white college kids...Kent State changed all of that and made middle America parents even start questioning what the government was doing.
At least almost every weekend in Michigan you could attend some rally or protest in Ann Arbor or Lansing...Flower Power!
