thanks everyone!!! i think she is just adorable, her pics don't do her justice ... she has the most soulful eyes ... she's perfect for me!!
more updates: she's eating!!!

i had to coax her to the bowl b/c she doesn't like to come into the kitchen yet ... she'll come in a few steps and then prance backwards, come in, prance back....
so i mashed up her food and then i held the bowl in one hand and got on the floor. she wouldn't take food out of my hand yesterday, but i was hoping she would be hungry and do it today. she licked it off my fingers. i took one step back towards the bowl and encouraged. she came and licked. one more back. she came. licked. pranced back.
finally, i got far enough to put the bowl in the holder and she pranced back, so i dug out a little food and gave it to her a couple more times. then i put it on the edge of the bowl. she pushed it on the floor and ate it from there. then she put her head in the bowl and little and snatched it out and pranced back a few steps. i encouraged her. she came and did it a couple more times, taking the food and dropping it on the floor. once the bowl moved and she took off!! she seems a bit afraid of the bowl, i wonder what's up with that?!?
anyway, she ate enough for me to know that she knows where the food is and she's not gonna starve LOL!!! so i got up from the floor and she took off again ... but she since went in the kitchen on her own and ate some more, so i'm happy.... should i just leave food out for her all day or put her on a schedule of eating?!?
also, she used her pee pad!!! she was pee-pad trained in the other house, so once i have her going outside on a regular schedule, i may just take up the pee pads ... it's not a lot of urine, but i don't know if i like that in the house in general

we'll see....
