I'm so sorry for you. It's so sad.

My husband rescued a tiny kitten who was about 6 weeks old from the streets of Chicago . She was bleedimg from her mouth, nose, ears, and bottom. He rushed her to a vet and the vet said it was rat poisoning and gave an antidote. We adopted her and gave her the medicine and she recovered beautifully. That was 12 years ago. Rat poisoning isn't so sudden as you described.

My cousin had rabbits in a cage outside. Chem Lawn came and sprayed the lawn. She didn't realize it and let the rabbits out in the grass, they both died suddenly from being poisoned.

It's horrible but something to be aware of.

Again, my heartfelt prayers go out to you.
