Parti Yorkies (Partially Colored Yorkies) Had my first Yorkie at age 3, and I'm turning 60 on Monday, with many Yorkies inbetween. So, I was pleasantly surprised to learn about Partially Colored Yorkies, which the AKC was forced to recognize a few years ago. White Yorkies (usually with traditional gold heads and some black spots on back) are born about one in 5,000, and breeders used to cull them (read "kill") as they do not meet the AKC standard of gold and blue black. Now, they are the "hottest" Yorkies and are gaining the recognition they deserve. I'll post photos.
