Was she in heat recently? If she's not spayed and just went through her heat cycle it could be a false pregnancy (pseudocyesis). Happens sometimes in intact females after their cycle. Can range from just a little bit of lactation that lasts a couple of weeks clear up to a full blown false pregnancy with weight gain, morning sickness, etc. My Soph did this after her last heat, lactated in one of her nipples for a couple of weeks. Vet said it was annoying but not life threatening, just watch for other symptoms. Vet also said she had a little higher risk for pyometria so as soon as DH gets a couple of good commission checks under his belt we'll have her spayed.
