The first thing I would do, is make an appt with your general Vet for a Bile Acid Serum (BAT) - costs $60 to $100 depending on where you live. Once you get these results, you will be able to have some idea of liver function: normal, MVD or Liver Shunt.

A specialist may need to be seen, but first do a BAT with your General Vet
