Hi - First - welcome to YT - you'll love it here!!!! Bridget just had 9 baby teeth taken out at the same time she was spayed. We had her spay scheduled for 3 weeks prior but my vet wanted to wait to see if the teeth came out on their own, but after playing tug - o - war and giving her all kinds of chew toys....they didn't budge - she looked like a shark with two sets across the top!!! I also didn't want to put her through anything more if it wasn't necessary but figured it would probably mess with her bite if I waited too long. (I kind of think of things for her the same I would if it were my children...what would I do.....)I brought her home the same evening as her spay, and the next day she was chewing on her nylabones and her kong. She is eating her kibble (still not loving it - but eating it) better now and I wonder if it had something to do with the baby teeth being loose and causing discomfort. It was $96 dollars for the 9 teeth, but I'm sure if I had not done them at this time it would have been considerably more if done separate from the spay. Good luck!!!!
