Yeah, this method is as close to fool-proof as I've found. I placed two of mine on a teetery hammock one time, and they looked like little angels. Just make sure they're not gonna leap if it's too high.

Overall, for portraits, I defer to the experts! It is hard. I like the squeaker idea though!
