They gave her a shot to progress the labor, she needed it because 20 minutes later she pushed them out. WE have a precious lil girl...Both are resting. What do ladies recommend for lactating mommies, I want to make sure she is producing the most milk possible.
THANK YOU!!!!

Thanks for updating us, I know your heart is aching over the two you lost. Your Precious Bella and her little girl are well, that's the bright side.
I PM'd you on suggestions to keep your mother producing milk. Don't get worried that she isn't producing enough milk, they don't usually the first couple of days, until that pup starts suckling hard. After that, her milk will let down every 2 hours. Make sure you weigh the baby twice a day for the first few days to ensure that she's gaining weight. That's your indicator that mom is producing good rich milk.
Oh make sure that you help Bella out the first few days and diaper the pup. Just in case you don't know what I mean. Take a cotton ball, soak it with warm water, squeeze a bit of the water out. and rub her little anus. Take another cotton ball and do the same to her vaginal area. Do this once a day. Mom's usually do this instinctively, but sometimes new moms need a little help.
