I work a lot with my dogs on the sit and stay command. One is much better than the other, but like some others have said. Mine will do most anything for a treat including pose. One trick though, have your camera all ready before you start. I can't tell you how many pictures I have missed out on because I get them to sit and stay, then my camera is not "on" or on the right setting, and I miss it. LOL. Also, a squeeky toy works great sometimes too. They will sit and look for where the squeek is coming from and you can get good expressions. Of course it helps to have someone helping you with the squeeker so you don't have to take pictures one handed. Good luck and just do a lot of practicing.
