I keep food down at all times... what the puppies aren't eating mom is taking care of that...lol. So I have one down and one on reserve.
Ahia's milk will dry up with the weaning process, less demand from the pups will tell her body, to stop producing.
If the pups were on the small side I would encourge them to nurse another week, but in your case it doesn't seem to be needed. Mom's usually take care of the weaning process naturally. We just need to jump in and add the proper food for the puppies...
As far as spaying her I would consult your vet. I routine exam should be given to see when she would be ready for that surgery.
PS.. Have I missed the pictures of the puppies??? Sure would like to see the little ones if I had. Lead me in the direction of the Pictures !!!!
