I would put a treat or two in the crate periodically. Leave the door open and the puppy goes in there looking for a treat. Over time he got used to the crate and enjoys being in there. Another thing that I did is put a treat inside the crate with the door closed. He went bonkers for a short while trying to get inside to get the treat. I opened the door to let him get his treat and he was a happy little camper!
