My son has 2 Dachshund/Chihuahua mixes. I'm not clear on how he got them (I think through a friend of his wife) but he didn't buy them. Anyway, Prissie is very much like a large Chi, but heavier. She seems perfectly healthy and is very athletic. Roxie looks more like a Dachshund and her rear legs are very bowed. I didn't notice it when he got he got her as a pup but now that she's about 2 years old it's very noticeable. I know that poor girl is going to have serious problems as she ages. |
