Not that I am at all challenging your response... it makes me worry a little again. If it had been just the temp drop on its own I might have not been as concerned but because there is the question that they are overdue I am a little more worried. After talking to vets and researching a little more it seemed that the general consensus was that in 99% of cases the issue with "overdue pregnancies" is simply a date miscalculation but I'm starting to wonder. Today is day 67 from the FIRST breeding and day 59 from the LAST breeding (although I think its safe to say she got pregnant somewhere earlier in the 9 day span than later) If it doesn't happen TONIGHT I'm bringing my baby in. |
I have been mislead by a malfunctioning digital thermometer. It gave temps that were near what they should be. But they were days off. I always keep a spare on hand just for that reason.
