I used to wear flea collars on my dogs for years, so when I got Nelly I automatically bought her a flea collar. Luckily, she had a vet visit soon after we had her. After wearing them on my dogs for years, a vet doctor that I had not seen before told me to never wear them because they can make your dog sick. I was devasted, one of my other dogs has been having seizures since she was 4 years old, now I think that the flea collar may have done it to her. I am not a professional in dogs but I do know that I will never wear a flea collar ever again on any of my three dogs. The vet said only wear it if they are around squirrels holes when we are camping.
