Even if you do forget, the vet should be checking her knees. Whenever I take my pups to my vet for anything, they get a thorough exam which includes checking their knees.

I always suggest to people that they watch their vet examine their pups carefully. Watching to see if they check knees, ears, eyes, throat, hips...lungs, heart. If they don't then honestly I would think about another vet.

Another suggestion: When you go to your vet, take a list of questions with you. That way you will not forget. That is also good for when you go to your own doctor. It is SO easy to forget things when you are in with a doctor.
