Got my little guy back. His stomach is fine, but it turns out he has pneumonia. That took the vet by surprise, because other than the rapid breathing, he wasn't showing any symptoms of it. She actually caught it on accident during the barium swallow xrays. He will be on antibiotics for 2 weeks and if it doesn't clear up, she will send him to a specialist.
I'm so relieved to have him home.
