That's a shame

I know our dog park also has the big/small sides, and sometimes (mostly weekends) dogs look a bit too big to be in the small section, but luckily we haven't encountered any problems yet. Ours allow older dogs in the small dog section as well (regardless of how big they are). I don't mind the large breed pups in there because they could be injured by the big dogs, but if they are growling and being aggressive, that should be a clue! Weekends also bring kids into the park and I think you're supposed to be over 8 w/ parental supervision to go in there but I've seen younger.

I'm gonna admit... I was a "rule breaker" at the yorkie 'meet up' we had at Quiet Waters. LOL. I had little treats and towards the end (we had already been there for almost 2 hours) I was giving some to Jackson and ONLY him.... the place had kinda fizzled out, it wasn't too crowded so there wasn't a bagillion dogs or anything. And this chick comes up behind me, taps me on the shoulder, and says snobbishly "Food is NOT allowed in here!" I was like "I wasn't giving any to your dog" lol. But whatever!
