 Ramp
I posted this in another thread, but will do so again. Here is a ramp my husband built for Edie. It is carpeted and has a rail so she can't fall off. It is clamped to the footboard, so it doesn't move. I like it because it is only 6 inches wide, allowing me to walk around the bed. Most of the stairs you buy are at least 18 inches wide. It probably cost 10$ to make. A ramp is a lot easier to build than stairs, for obvious reasons. Edie learned how to use it very quickly. First I put her on the top, then I put her halfway up...she took it from there. |
