She came to me eating ProPlan, which I read is not the best, so when she turned up her nose at it I wasn't upset, and thought it would be my chance to try to get her on something better. I tried Blue Buffalo, Natures Variety and now Artemis has been kind enough to send me some samples - which she once again turned up her nose at. I have tried the cheese as mentioned, and chicken broth with no success. I was beginning to think that it might be her teeth (she has approx 8 baby teeth that are coming out tomorrow during her spay....I'm super nervous - but that's a whole other thread), but she will eat the cats hard food and soft (if she can get away with it), and turns up her nose at any of her own soft food, from some of the most expensive I can find right down to Ceasers! She will occassionally eat Chef Michaels Tenderloin! But that's it. Loves eggs, and real chicken, and raw carrots, and if I try to mix she will either not eat any or pick around her food for the real stuff. There was a thread posting all the companies that will send samples, and I have contacted them all. I have received e-mails back stating they are sending samples out, and a few who do not have samples are sending $5 coupons.
So I'm at a loss - any other suggestions would be very appreciated.
Oh and by the way - she will eat any of it if she thinks it's a treat...if I reward her for bringing her toy while playing fetch and give it to her one at a time, or if I feed her the soft food from a SPOON!!! I've tried different plates/bowls/dishes. Tried to feed her on the same plate as the cats food....nothing doing!!!
