A yorkies coat will not always go to the gournd if you don't clip. There are those yorkies that have self leveling coats. Or those because of their lifestile their coats never make the ground. Huddersfield Ben, known as the father of all yorkies, never had a coat that reached the grown. And their are yorkies that are described as red legs, whose coats never reach the ground.
