I have a question about yorkies needing knee replacements. I figured that this can be a hereditary thing as well as something that happens when one lets the dog jump up and down on furniture or takes him on long walks regularly...but my mom says that some lady told her that yorkies need knee replacements every five years (I guess this lady has 6 yorkies and they all need knee replacements within at least five years). I doubt that is true, but I'd like someone's opinion on this. Do ALL yorkies or even MOST yorkies need knee replacements?
