were both your dogs puppies? Where did they come from?
My friend's dog had it years ago but she did not do puppy shots the took her dog for a hike up in the mountains and the dog contracted parvo.
After the scare we had the vets and specialists told me parvo is everywhere and as long as your dog was vaccinated for it as a puppy and had one year booster immunity should be fine and my dogs were fine so i am curious as to did they contract this before having puppy shots? |

Yes my dog was 13 weeks old when he got parvo. But he had only gotten one shot at the time and no parvo shot. And I got him from a petstore here in the Philippines.
But I wonder, is it only puppies who get parvo or can older dogs get it too?
And I also asked my vet if he could get parvo again later in life, my vet said no. But I read somewhere that dogs can get parvo again after having it once. But I guess, yeah, dogs should be fine if they already had their parvo shot.
