So I was trying to find a good way to allow Pixie to get on/off the bed without having to jump (I don't let her jump off the couch either) and found this site:

It's a little pricey, but are the bed ramps awesome! They're fully carpeted, have a very gradual slope and even have a railing on the side so they can't fall off! If only my husband was handy enough to build me something like this... I guess I'll be stuck buying it (whenever I can trust Pixie to not pee in bed anyway!)
