ALKP is important in metabolism and is found in liver cells. High levels indicate bile duct obstruction, Cushing's, liver disease, certain cancers and may be due to certain drugs such as steroids or phenobarbital. Low levels indicate starvation or malnutrition.

the pancreas affects the liver - I bet if you did bats on him he has mvd - dd never had high alt nor high alkp and she has mvd - are you feeding a lower protein diet? I would not worry too much if acting fine

many times vets will say treat the dog not the blood work as blood work can change based on alot of things so i would not stress over it myself
