I am planning our first vacation since getting Zeus last January. I was very stressed about leaving him in a kennel all day too. I did find a very nice lady who does in home boarding. She has a Silky and a Chi and when we went to meet her Zeus played his heart out with her Chi. She doesn't crate in fact he can sleep with her and her two dogs should he want to. He will be part of the family. We will do a one night trial to see how he does. I hope it works out because we will be gone for two weeks. My fear is that he will think I left him forever. |
