That's a great tip about finding a groomer who will let me stay with him and making an appointment for a slow time! A high maintenance puppy is a new thing to me... I've always been able to do my dogs myself or had short haired dogs, so I've been getting recommendations from friends (none of whom have yorkies). I'll add that criteria on when I start calling.
