Once he's had all his puppy shots and a clean stool check you should be good to go. If your worried about him being overwelmed look for a groomer that lets you stay with him during, and maybe start introducing things like scissors and maybe an electric razor so he gets used to the sound to him to ease him into it. Pann doesn't like it, and last time my mom and I shaved him ourselves it took a long time but it was worth it being able to give him time to relax and to become more comfortable with the tools. good luck!!
