Once he has all his shots, it is best to get him used to the groomer right away.
What I did was set up an appt. for my puppy when no one else would be there, I only had her bathed, brushed out, and a sanitary & face trim... I stayed with her... this way she wasnt there very long, like she would be for a whole haircut but she got used to all the sounds of the equipment, etc. Then the next time I had a little more done and I left but I left my older dog with her, so that she would have someone familiar there. Even now I always take them together so that they have each other and I only leave them for as long as it takes for them both to be groomed. Good Luck!
