If money is no object then an amount should be posted. The word 'Reward' can mean anything and people always want to know how much. The amount Gen posted for Cookie apparently wasn't enough to draw him out. Not many of us can allocate a few thousand dollars as a reward to get a dog back but it seems that's what it takes.

Also, make sure the chip register is password protected so it can't be changed by someone that decides to keep her.
