I would suggest that if you are considering breeding in the future, you start researching NOW. Find an experienced breeding mentor to work with who will help you evaluate your dogs to determine if they are of a quality that *should* be bred and who will guide you though having all the proper health tests done and preparation for breeding/whelping and raising a litter.
If your sole reason for breeding her is to provide your daughter with a puppy, take the easy route and buy her one. You will come out way ahead in the long run, both monetarily and with a shred more sanity. |
